Facewall - A Data Scrapping Synthesis

In this project Facebook is used as a source for the creation of an artwork that uses online data from users (pictures from profiles, geo-location, and other) and creates a photographic collage in real-time. After the images have been collected, specific algorithms are used for the image manipulation, pixelation, and glitching. The projection screen consists of three rectangular vertical planes that are installed in different height and depth positions. The point of this installation is to create a new perspective of viewing online data by using fragmented visual angles of a virtual space that is in fusion.
